Ardyss International's Premiere London Opportunity Event
It is official. Ardyss International will be launching in the UK on the 28th August 2010. I know there are a lot of you out there that might be wondering, what Ardyss International is. Well Ardyss are the founders of a Body Reshaping Product called the Body Magic, which is reshaping women all over the world.

Ardyss International's Premiere Opportunity Event
Some of you may or may not have already heard the buzz about Ardyss International. For those of you who haven't, Ardyss International is a company that has been in business for nearly 20 years and started life in Mexico by a man called Antonio Diaz de Leon. Mr Diaz de Leon decided to start his own business after losing his job for the Mexican Government.
Following a conversation with his brother who was a physican and a friend who was an Orthopedist, Mr Diaz de Leon came up with the notion that he needed to provide something that would boost people's self esteem and help them to look better both on the outside and in.
From this concept came the Body Magic, which is a reshaping garment for women, and the nutritional products such as the Levive. This is a family run business with Mr and Mrs de Leon, thier 2 son's Antonio Jr and Alejandro plus thier wives.

Never too old to learn Pt 2
Following on from Pt1, I guess I'm trying to demonstrate that even a mother of 3 and grandmother of 2 can retrain and develop new skills.
I've just launched myself into Network Marketing. Again if someone had told me I would be making this transistion I would have laughed.
A friend of mine who attended my Hula Hoop classes posted a comment on her facebook wall, stating that she had dropped 2-3 dress sizes in 10mins. I looked at it and laughed. I told myself this was just another gimmick. A few weeks later she posted it again and this time she invited us along to a showcase. As I was intrigued I decided to contact her. I tried to rubbish it and made all the excuses why I could not attend, in the end she got the better of me and I went along.
The showcase was being run by Americans, as that is where the company is based. They told us how they started off with nothing, some had lost their houses, jobs etc etc, but I still didn't buy into it. I knew I could not compare the earning potiental the Americans were making to us in the UK, so it really did not phase me. I wanted to hear what someone from the UK was actually earning before I coudl believe in it.
About 10 - 15 minutes into the showcase they brought out 3 people, whom they had picked from the audience. They paraded them around before they were transformed. Then after a short while the 3 people came back, 2 women and 1 man. Well, I was gobsmacked, I could not believe what I saw before I eyes. The man had previously had a large stomach, but when he returned it was flat, he looked like Mr Universe. There was 1 of the women in particular, she was slim, smoothed out, no lumps or bumps and she looked confident and radient.
Well that did it for me, I wanted one for myself. You might wonder why if I teach Hula Hooping, but I think no matter what, once you have lost weight, the most difficult bit to get rid off is the excess loose fat.
I could definately see the dollar signs and how this would fit into our market, especially with the high obesity rates we have not only in the UK but in the USA too.
This amazing product is what has now brought me onto the new chapter in my life. Being the type of person I am, if I embark on something I need to learn and know everything there is to learn. By researching the company I stumbled across various sites about Internet Marketing and Businesses on the net. I even went to Las Vegas on my own in June to redevelop myself, which is something I would never have done before.
I am now at a turning point in my life as I embark on my new journey. So many doors are opening up for me and I am networking with so many different people around the world. I am learning how I can maximise my business and a whole new different way of not only marketing my businesses but also myself.
Hence why my title is Never too old to learn!

Never too old to learn Pt 1
I chose this as I think it is a fitting title, which relates to what has been happening in my life recently.
When I started my journey as a hula hoop instructor I never dreamed it would have taken me to so many fantastic places and meeting so many wonderful people.
I was originally never one for travelling or someone who would be implusive to a certain degree, but I think for me anyway, the passing of my dear father some 5 years this September has been a real turning point in my life.
One of my favourite quotes is Life is too short and that is why I now live it to the fullest and try to enjoy every moment of it and grab whatever opportunities come my way.
I am no keep fit fanatic, in fact I don't do exercise period. I think I must own every form of exercise equipment that was created. My house has so many different machines, benches, balls etc, etc it's not even funny. I knew it got bad when my son told me not to buy anymore because I was just wasting my money.
I'm sure some of you will be able to relate to this? When the box comes and you open it with excitement, promise yourself your going to use it everyday because it is the best thing that has ever been invented. Two weeks later, your hat and coat are hanging up on it.
Well, after having 3 children and not being sucessful at the gym, I decided enough was enough and I needed to shift the flab around my stomach. As I hate situps what else could I do that would tone my abs?
So there I was some three years plus ago surfing the net looking again for that quick fix solution and there it was the Hula Hoop. Yes the Hula Hoop. Well that put me out the picture because I did not know how to hoop as a child and knew for certain I wouldn't be able to do it now.
I read all the info I could find. Learnt that Beyonce hooped to keep her trim and other celebrities were at it too. Well if it was good enough for Beyonce, it's gonna be good enough for me.
I found a health exhibition in London, which I dragged my daughter along to. She must have been about 11 at the time. We were given the opportunity to try various hoops and there was also a demo class which we took part in. By the time we left we were definately hooked.
Surely, there must be more to hooping than just spinning it around your waist? So off I went to hoop classes in North London every Tuesday with daughter in tow. We both enjoyed it so much, learnt a few tricks that I decided I wanted to teach and spread the love of hooping in my area of South London. Again I got on the net and started looking for teacher training classes. As the UK was still relatively new to hooping we had to rely on trainers from the States to come over. I took the Body Hoops teacher training Level 1 & 2 and my daughter along with me took the Hoopgirl training Level 1 & 2. She was the youngest ever person at that time to qualify as a Hoopgirl instructor. We now run 3 classes a week, which are being sponsored by our Local Government and last year we recieved funding for a year from our Local Health Authority. Hula Hooping is a brilliant way of getting fit, you can burn up to 100 calories in 10 minutes. It is a low impact aerobic activity, which uses all of your body therefore giving you an all over body workout. If your someone like me who hates going to the gym or convential methods of exercising you should try it. It's one of the only exercises I know where you can have a good laugh and release your stresses of the day. It makes you youthful and you actually enjoy yourself and have fun whilst exploring the hoop. I have learnt new skills, which I never knew I possessed. I am teaching people of all ages and abilities and the greatest thing of all I am keeping fit and active.
